ZENPRISE WINS WINDOWS IT MEDIA’S BEST OF TECH ED 2006 AWARD FOR MESSAGING

Fremont, CA - June 27, 2006 — Windows IT Media honored Zenprise with the Best of Tech Ed 2006 Award in the Messaging category at Tech Ed 2006 in Boston last week.

Judges Michael Otey, Karen Forster, Diana May, Amy Eisenberg, Jason Bovberg, and Blake Eno reviewed more than 200 products and services that were submitted for the awards program.

"The winners at Tech Ed 2006 each represent best-in-class technology products. After closely evaluating all entries, our team of editors chose winners based on the products’ strategic importance to the market, competitive advantages, value to the customer, and value in the marketplace," said Mike Otey, Technical Director for Windows IT Media.

“Zenprise provides a powerful automated email problem resolution solution that collects operational data from across the entire Exchange infrastructure," Otey continued. "It constructs a baseline profile showing typical system activity and performance levels and automatically analyzes deviations from these baselines, matching the symptoms against possible causes. The product then provides a series of steps that the administrator can follow to resolve the problem.”

This award is one of a string of recent industry accolades. The company was selected by InfoWorld as one of fifteen "Startups to Watch" in May, and named a finalist in the Software & Information Industry Association Codie Awards and in Techworld's Product of the Year Awards.

Zenprise enables system and email administrators to quickly and proactively resolve the most complex Exchange issues in real time. Using patent pending algorithms, Zenprise identifies email problems in an Exchange environment, pinpoints the root cause, and delivers step-by-step instructions to fix the problem.

"Best of Tech Ed distinguishes innovation in all segments of the Microsoft ecosystem," said Jayaram Bhat, CEO of Zenprise. “It's an honor to win in the messaging category. This recognition validates our product’s proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving email performance and availability problems.”
