ZENPRISE MOVES INTO THE MOBILE MARKET

Automated Troubleshooting Software Provider Launches Zenprise for BlackBerry

Fremont, CA - February 12, 2007 — Zenprise, Inc. today announced the expansion of its product suite to provide automated troubleshooting of operational issues across BlackBerry® enterprise environments. Using award-winning Correlation, Causation and Correction technology, Zenprise proactively troubleshoots and prescribes fixes to BlackBerry® Enterprise Server (BES) email and application issues, thereby enabling companies to manage the growth of BlackBerry users and service levels with confidence.

The number of enterprise mobile device users is growing rapidly. The Radicati Group projects the number of wireless email users to grow from 12 million users in 2006 to 199 million users in 2010. With this rapid growth in users come several unique challenges, including: increasing the number of users and services without increasing people support costs, cost effectively planning infrastructure requirements for capacity upgrades, and maintaining high service levels.

“With a large number of BlackBerry devices, we are always looking for ways to automate the day to day management of our BlackBerry infrastructure,” said Gilbert Villaroman, Sr. Network Administrator, Ross Stores. “Solutions like Zenprise are a viable alternative to help automate our troubleshooting process, thereby freeing up time for me and my team."

Zenprise ensures that existing IT professionals can do more with the same number of resources. By automatically troubleshooting problems in real-time, Zenprise quickly isolates the true cause of problems that can occur across the BlackBerry environment. This frees IT professionals from manual, time consuming troubleshooting and support work. Zenprise also calculates capacity usage trends for the BlackBerry environment and displays the detail via visual capacity planning maps. This allows IT organizations to properly plan for BlackBerry deployments and predictably manage growth.

"Use of mobile devices, such as BlackBerry, has increased throughout the enterprise," said Jayaram Bhat, CEO of Zenprise. "Organizations face increased pressure around support costs, capacity planning, and high service level expectations as the number of users with BlackBerry access expands. Our new offering will help IT address these issues and stay ahead of the game.”

Zenprise for BlackBerry also provides early detection and warning of service disruptions before they impact executives and employees. This helps ward off service interruptions, and ensures continued mobile user productivity and customer satisfaction.

"Customers rely on the BlackBerry solution to enhance corporate productivity outside of the office," said Jeff McDowell, Vice President, Global Alliances, Research In Motion. "Solutions from companies like Zenprise can help our enterprise customers maintain service levels in a cost effective and predictable manner as their BlackBerry deployments quickly grow.”

BlackBerry support is offered as a module in Zenprise 3.0. The newest version of Zenprise also includes several enhancements to the existing Microsoft® Exchange module.
